Käynnistyslatain ja Xp

Tein päivityksiä netistä ja kävi niin että Suse ei auennutkaan,
tein CD:llä korjausasennuksen ja silloin tuosta käynnistysvalikosta
hukkui XP:n käynnistys mahdollisuus. Miten saan sen takaisin?

Eiköhän tuo yast jo auttaisi. Mutta homman voi hoitaa manuaalisesti. Lisäät /boot/grub/menu.lst valikkoon kappaleen:
title Microsoft Windows XP Professional
root (hd0,1)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1
Tuo rivi root (hd0,1) riippuu järjestelmästäsi.

Tuo 'root (hd0,1)' tarkoittanee esimerkissä ensimmäistä levyä, ja sen toista (?) primääriosiota (?).
Olisi mielenkiintoista nähdä, mitä koneesi tulostaa komennolla:

Öööhhhh. Olipas mielenkiintoisesti kiintolevyjä, osioimatta niitä sen kummemmin.
Minun tilanteeni tässä kannettavassa:

Jolloin Yast2 on asennuksessa muokannut seuraavanlaisen kappaleen menu.lst tiedostoon:

    rootnoverify (hd0,2)
    chainloader (hd0,0)+1
Tuo rootnoverify (hd0,2) on osio, jolla Opensuse 11 lymyilee.
Käytä siis tuota yas2:ta menu.lst tiedoston tekoon.
