Wacomin piirtopöytä ei toimi

Terve! Olen hyvin tuore Linux-käyttäjä, ja enpä näillä taidoilla saa Wacomin piirtopöytääni toimimaan. Kyseessä on malli CTE-430. Olisiko kenelläkään kokemusta Wacomeista Linuxin puolella (tai muuten vain tietäväisenä olemisesta?) GIMPillä testatessani pystyi kyllä piirtämään kauniita viivoja, mutta esim. paineentunnistus ei toimi, puhumattakaan siitä että kursori liikkuu vähän mihin suuntiin sattuu ja piirtopöydän ja näytön reunat eivät täsmää ja "vaihtuvat" suhteessa toisiinsa koko ajan. Sain "The Wacom Linux Projectin" sivuilta ladattua "linuxwacom-0.7.8-3.tar.bz2" -nimisen tiedoston, ja olen osoitteessa http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/minihowto -sijaitsevan ohjeen mukaan tätä yrittänyt räpellellä. Olen päässyt melko menestyksekkäästi ohjeiden kohtaan "[root@ayukawa linuxwacom-0.7.8-3]# make", mutta siihen "putkeni" tyssäsikin. Mikäli Päätteen tulostamista teksteistä tässä yhteydessä on mitään apua, viskon ne tuohon alas..

En siis tosiaan vielä ymmärrä Linukasta oikein mitään, joten mitä yksinkertaisemmin saatte selitettyä, sitä parempi. Yllä olevien tietojen tahi tuon konfig.log:in merkityksistä ei ole edes hämärästi hajua. Käytän tällä hetkellä Fedoraa enkä Opensusea, ei varmaan vaikuta asiaan? Yumilla ennen tämän yrittämistä installoin kaikki tiedostot mitä löysin haulla "wacom". Eipä auttanut.

Okei openSUSEssa homma menisi näin.
Asenna gcc, make ja kernel-source vaikka komentamalla

su -c 'zypper in gcc make kernel-source'

tai sitten käyttämällä YaST2 Ohjelmistohallintaa.

Kun nuo paketit on saatu asennettua voidaan aloittaa asennus ohjeen mukaan.
Voi olla että joitakin muitakin riippuvuuksia täytyy tyydyttää ennen kuin saat ohjelman kääntymään.

Vaihda openSUSEen ;-)

Okei, vitsi vitsinä. Asenna nuo tarvittavat paketit käyttämällä yum ohjelmaa jotenkin näin

Kiitokset nopeasta vastauksesta! Jotain hyötyä neuvoistasi oli, sillä ainakin pääteen esittelemät tekstit/herjat ovat muuttaneet kovasti olomuotoaan. Laitanpa ne tuohon alle mikäli noilla olisi virkaa. Piirtopöytä ei siis edelleenkään tykkää toimia. Yritin tässä kovasti tiirailla uudestaan näitä pidempiä ohjeita: http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/main , mutta piankos meni taas hermot ja järki. Nyt ahdistaa ja pelottaa niin että sieluun sattuu.

Kiitokset nopeasta vastauksesta! Jotain hyötyä neuvoistasi oli, sillä ainakin pääteen esittelemät tekstit/herjat ovat muuttaneet kovasti olomuotoaan. Laitanpa ne tuohon alle mikäli noilla olisi virkaa. Piirtopöytä ei siis edelleenkään tykkää toimia. Yritin tässä kovasti tiirailla uudestaan näitä pidempiä ohjeita: http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/main , mutta piankos meni taas hermot ja järki. Nyt ahdistaa ja pelottaa niin että sieluun sattuu.

Älä vielä hermostu, kyllä se tästä  Kunhan noi viisaammat herää, niin varmaan saat lisää neuvoja. Sulta puuttuu edelleen tuohon kääntämiseen tarvittavia paketteja. Ainakin yhden huomasin.  gcc-c++ paketti näyttäs puuttuvan. Tarkista onko näin.

Samat herjat heittelee edelleen, kummallista kyllä. Kovasti vaan kysyttäessä väittää heti perään että kyseiset paketit on asennettu. Kokeilin myös poistaa nuo (paitsi kernel-coursea, kuulosti "vaaralliselta") ja asentaa sitten uudelleen. Ei mitään vaikutusta..

Ei ole tuota Fedoraa asennettuna, vain openSUSEn eri versioita.
Tämän vuoksi on hankalaa kun ei ole tietoa millä nimellä mikäkin paketti Fedorassa kulkee.

Kokeilen nyt joka tapauksessa ladata tuon uusimman Fedoran ja asennan sen virtualboxiin jossain vaiheessa.
