Joka buutin yhteydessä täppä kohdasta 'Aseta aika ja päivämäärä automaattisesti' on hävinny ja kello näyttää mitä sattuu. Mikähän tuon asetuksen vois resetoida? KDE 3.5.6

Sori en aivan ymmärtänyt ongelmaa, mutta yksi oikein hyvä ratkaisu on
YaST > Verkkopalvelut > NTP-määritys
Jos palveluntarjoajallasi on oma aikapalvelin käytä sitä.

Ongelma on että rasti tuossa ruudussa ei pysy buuttien välillä, jolloin päivämäärä ei asetu buutissa oikein. :)

Uskon, että KDE:n aikapalvelu käyttää tuota automaattista aikamääritystä vain jos ntpd on päällä.
Pöytäkoneilla ntpd on melko turha, itse käytän ntpdatea, joka hakee ajan ja päivän aina bootin yhteydessä. Paljon parempi ratkaisu.

Se on päällä. Ongelma on nyt se että tuo asetus ei pysy päällä.

Täytyy kokeilla. En kyllä usko että se tosta on kiinni koska tossahan voi testata niitä servuja ja ne on toiminu. Mutta kokeillaan.

Tuon jälkeen katso komennon ntpq -c peers listaus.

Kello oli väärässä kun avasin koneen.Nyt ajoin noi sun komennot ja se meni taas aikaan.

Kun tuo aika kerran pomppaa tällä kuntoon /etc/init.d/ntp restart , niin voisko ton lykätä johonkin buutissa ajettavaksi komennoksi?

ajotason lisäämisellä se pitäisi mennä, mutta eikös siinä ollut jotain ongelma... pyöritään ympyrää kehässä hmhm

Hmm, eli nettiyhteyttä ei olla luotu, tai DNS-palvelimia ei olla löydetty. Kokeile muuttaa nuo nykyiset ntp-palvelimet hostnamesta IP:ksi. Jos se sillä lähtisi.
